Bot Boxing Beatdown
I’ve always been intrigued by remote control “anything” especially if it’s got four wheels or wings. I enjoyed many hours playing with my RC off-road car until a “real” car ran it over. =) I was going to throw it away but had a hunch that someone out there likes to fix these things. It sold on eBay for over $100 bucks.
I watched the film – Real Steel – and loved the idea of Kungfu robots. Mr. Wolverine is a gambling man and ex-boxer who builds, programs, and trains robots to fight other robots in public or underground arenas. In a junk yard, his son stumbles upon a decommissioned bot designed for sparing named Atom (reminds me of Adam in the Bible). They trick out the robot with voice commands that execute fight moves and combinations. What’s special about Atom is he’s got a shadow program that mimicks human motion and movement….I wish I had a robot to mow, weed-eat, and edge my yard…and pull out weeds. =)
Did you know that Jesus’ ministry was to “shadow” God the Father? Please examine the Scriptures below:

“He who hates Me hates My Father also.
“If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.
“But [this happened] that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. (John 15:7-26)
May I challenge you with these questions: Who controls you? Are you in control of your life? Do you sense your life spinning out of control? Call upon the Savior and get to know the Creator of Heaven and Earth by reading the Gospel According to John or get the verse-by-verse DVD set through John, Matthew and Acts.
