GRACE Is like….

When I think of GRACE, it reminds me of the Peter Pan film – HOOK when the kids are about to eat their invisible food.

Kids: [sits at the dinner table and clasps hands together for prayer]

Rufio: Everybody,say grace.

Peter Banning: Bless this, O Lord…

Kids: – GRACE! [quickly grab at the food all at once]

YouTube video starts at 5:40 where Rufio (Dante Basco) starts off the “prayer”.

GRACE is not a prayer you say over a meal though that is what we’ve called it.

Grace is so much more than that.

Imagine you are the passenger in a car and you’re holding for your dear life as the driver is going 130 MPH in a posted 65 MPH.

Get ready because you’ll experience something unheard of.

All of a sudden, you see the blue and red lights from your friendly State Trooper.

What do you think your buddy deserves for driving irresponsibly and recklessly?

Your buddy doesn’t try to wiggle himself out of the ticket but just confesses that he was trying to see how fast his car could go.

State Trooper simply gives him a warning. But wait it get’s better….

He gives him a special license signed by the President of …(you choose your country) so he can get out of any traffic violation for life. But wait….

The State Trooper offers him his life savings and a free unlimited gas card for life.

What’s going on? This doesn’t make sense.

The State Trooper explains that his father left him a fortune after being instantly killed in a head on collision by a drunk driver.

The illustration doesn’t even come close to scratching the surface of GRACE.

GRACE doesn’t make sense! GRACE changes everything and it’s no longer “invisible” to you when you’re the one who gets off the “hook”.

G.R.A.C.E stands for God’s Riches (Righteousness & Redemption) At Christ Expense.

This offer is for anyone but it’s time sensitive. Jesus has numbered all of our days and we have a “required” appointment with Him that can’t be rescheduled.

If you’re trying to see how fast or how close you can take your life to the edge, you are headed for disaster. If you stumbled upon this post in a google search, consider this another sign to turn to Christ.
